About Sports Recovery Annex
Sports Recovery Annex is a walk-in sports recovery facility that provides everyday athletes and professionals access to state-of-the-art recovery tools and equipment once only available to Olympic athletes and the Pro’s. Recovery after training and competition will allow you to perform in your next competition or training session without being compromised by muscle soreness and/or fatigue. Recover to enhance your exercise performance.
If you are a novice runner training to compete in your first 5K, weekend warrior working on your general fitness or an elite athlete looking to perform your best, the Sports Recovery Annex is the place to come to help you stay in the game and achieve your goals. Our highly trained sports medicine staff include nationally certified athletic trainers, board certified physicians and support staff all with the sole focus to help keep you injury free so you can achieve your athletic goals.

Dr. Anthony Iselborn, DC, DACBSP, ATC, LAT, CSCS, FIAMA, PES
Dr. Iselborn completed undergraduate studies at the University of the State of New York and the University of Florida. He received his Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College in 1984. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP).
Dr. Iselborn is credentialed by the National Athletic Trainers Association as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).
He is fellowship trained to perform acupuncture by the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He is also certified in Dry Needling Trigger Point Technique. In 1999 and 2011, Dr. Iselborn was selected by the United States Olympic Committee to provide chiropractic care at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center. He is a member of the United States Olympic Sports Medicine Society and The American Chiropractic Association Sports Injury Council.
Dr. Iselborn is the Team Chiropractor for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Professional Football Team. He is a member of the Professional Football Chiropractic Society.
He has extensive training and has been certified to perform Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Soft Tissue Technique Procedures, Kinesiotaping, and is FAKTR Certified (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation).
Dr. Iselborn served as a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Team at the 2011 Pan American Games.
Dr. Iselborn was selected and served with the United Stated Olympic Team as a member of the Medical Staff for the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London, England 2012.

As a competitive swimmer of 15 years, Ashley knows how important recovery is. With excitement, Ashley has spearheaded expanding the family business to focus on bringing the first “community athletic training room” to the Jacksonville community.
Prior to Sports Recovery Annex, she taught for three years and coached swim for Atlantic Coast High School. Ashley graduated with her B.S. in Biology from the University of North Florida in 2012.
When Ashley isn’t at work, she spends her free time with her dog, Oliver, planning her next trip or spending time with family and friends.
Kristin Wimp, DC, MA, ATC
Dr. Wimp is from Durango, Colorado. She attended undergraduate school at Fort Lewis College in her hometown. Dr. Wimp graduated in 1999 with a degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training. She became a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2000 by the National Athletic Trainers Association. Dr. Wimp then attended Gonzaga University obtaining a Masters in Sport and Athletic Administration. During this time, she had the opportunity to help work with the men’s basketball team, women’s soccer, men’s soccer and crew teams.
She has worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer or Assistant Athletic Trainer for NCAA Divisions I, II and III with all sports. In 2010, Dr. Wimp started working with the US Fencing Team and still travels with them on a regular basis. She graduated from Southern California University with her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Wimp is currently working on her Certified Chiropractic and Sports Physician Certification (CCSP).

Catherine Horita is a certified athletic trainer originally from Arkansas. She’s excited to work at Sports Recovery Annex because she genuinely enjoys working with athletes and aiding their performance. Her passion for helping athletes is a great match with Sports Recovery Annex because they provide innovative and original services. When she’s not working, Catherine enjoys reading and going to the beach.

Eleanor Baker, MS graduated from the University of North Florida with her Masters in nutrition and dietetics while completing a dietetic internship. During her collegiate career, she competed in cross country and track where she advanced in the Women’s 3000 Meter Steeplechase multiple times to the NCAA Division 1 East Regional meet with a personal best time of 10:19. She also captured a win at the Tom Jones Memorial Meet with a time of 4:24 in the women’s 1500.
Eleanor has worked with athletes of all levels. She has completed an internship with the Jacksonville Jaguars, worked with the Bolles Girls Cross Country Team (four times as state champions), University of North Florida Cross Country and Track Team, and she is currently working with the PGA Tour and the Body Balance Institute conducting nutrition education and consultations.
In her free time, Eleanor does a variety of sports from mountain biking, surfing, and running to rollerblading, and scuba diving. In between activities, she also likes to find time to slow down a little and do acro-yoga, read something new, or grow a garden.
Amber Lacinak-Jones is a Licensed Massage Therapist who enjoys working with a large range of age and activity levels, to help achieve personal goals through therapeutic massage techniques. She believes massage can help alleviate many pain issues that can keep us from doing the things we love to do.
Amber has worked as a massage therapist for more than 10 years, is Nationally Board Certified, and belongs to massage associations that keep her up-to-date with the latest and best ways to supply her patients with quality care.
Amber graduated from Palm Beach Academy of Health and Beauty in Lake Park, Florida, has volunteered her services to hospice nurses, health fairs and sporting events. In Amber’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, mountain biking, gardening, cooking, and playing with their three dogs.
Alexa Daneault, ATC, LAT
Alexa loves athletic training because she loves working with athletes throughout all aspects of their athletic performance.
She’s excited to work at the Sports Recovery Annex because it provides services to a variety of athletes. She says that it’s the idea of a community training room that welcomes everyone. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys working out and going to the beach.
Sports Recovery Annex has everything you need to actively recover between workouts and competitions.
